Cooperation between Shanghai Film Museum and european institutions

The Shanghai Film Museum was opened in June 2013. Since then international cooperations with Italian institutions are going on. We would like to encourage German institutions to have an exchange programme with this new museum at one of Asias first sites –beside Hongkong– were cinema was introduced to an audience from all over Asia. A film industry was built in short time and flourished until 1941. Now Shanghai is revealing its film tradition on a large scale.
